Portulaca Web Design and Hosting
Portulaca Web Design and Hosting is based in Weston-super-Mare in England.
We offer free web design and hosting in an effort to support local arts and crafts persons who want a web presence and a retail outlet.
Portulaca works in co-operation with The Art Centre (link at the right). The Art Centre will retail quality crafts produced locally.
We understand the difficulties local producers and retailers are up against with the onslaught of imported cheap foreign made goods retailed through the big shops owned by plc companies or by individuals who live and pay taxes outside the UK.
We also understand this onslaught is aided and abetted by our elected politicians.
They won't help us, so we have to help ourselves!
We might be able to network to other local retailers as well. Please discuss this with us if you are interested.
It helps to include photos or pictures on your website. We can do this easily. Hover your mouse (without clicking) over the thumbnail picture and a larger one will pop up.
This can be useful to illustrate your arts and/or crafts. Being interactive makes it more interesting.
